Yes. US federal tax 24% withheld on wins over $5,000 (300x odds). All winnings are taxable income even if not reported. Keep records; deduct losses only if itemizing up to winnings.
What is closing line value (CLV)?
If you bet Chiefs -2.5 and line closes -3.5, you beat market = +CLV. Long-term +CLV bettors profit. Bet early when you expect steam, late when you want best number vs public.
